The Missouri Bar Association announced on March 31 several important dates and opportunities for lawyers in the state, including compliance deadlines, conferences, and committee meetings.

These updates are significant as they help legal professionals stay informed about continuing education requirements, networking opportunities, and legislative developments that may affect their practice.

Lawyers are reminded that the 2025-2026 minimum continuing legal education (MCLE) compliance period ends June 30. Attorneys must complete 15 MCLE hours by that date and file their annual reports by July 31. More information is available at MoBar.org/MCLE.

The association encourages members to support colleagues through a downloadable gratitude gram available at MoBar.org/Journal. In addition, the MOSOLO Small Firm Conference will celebrate its 30th anniversary from June 11-13 at Margaritaville in Osage Beach. Registration before May 12 offers a $50 discount.

Open enrollment committees will meet virtually April 27-30, providing free opportunities for collaboration and professional development. Nearly forty committees cover various focus areas; attendance is open to all lawyers regardless of membership status. More details can be found at MoBar.org/Committees-Sections.

Throughout the current legislative session, weekly Legislative Updates are prepared by the government relations department to keep Missouri lawyers informed about relevant bills. These updates can be accessed at News.MoBar.org.

Additional reminders include an end-of-day tech wind-down ritual to improve workflow efficiency and a list of upcoming events such as the Real Estate Institute on April 9 (virtual), AAML Advanced Family Law Symposium on April 10 (St. Louis), Workers’ Compensation Institute on April 17 (Jefferson City), Spring Enrollment Ceremonies on April 24 (Jefferson City), Well-Being Week in Law from May 4-8 (nationwide), and Board of Governors meeting on May 15 (Jefferson City). Further information is provided at MoBar.org.
