A Springfield, Missouri man has been sentenced to 50 years in federal prison for sexually exploiting two children. Yevgeniy Dudko, 53, received the sentence from U.S. District Judge M. Douglas Harpool. The court also ordered that Dudko serve a lifetime of supervised release after his incarceration. Upon release, he will be required to register as a sex offender and comply with both federal and state registration requirements.

Dudko was found guilty on March 20, 2025, after a bench trial. He was convicted of two counts of using minors—identified in court documents as Jane Doe 1 and Jane Doe 2—to produce child pornography between November 20, 2021, and March 14, 2023. He was also convicted of one count of receiving and distributing child pornography.

Investigators discovered about 1,000 images and videos of child pornography produced by Dudko involving the two victims.

“This case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Ami Harshad Miller,” according to the press release. “It was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations, the Southwest Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force, and the Greene County, Mo., Sheriff’s Department.”

The prosecution was part of Project Safe Childhood—a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice aimed at combating child sexual exploitation and abuse. The program coordinates efforts among federal, state, and local agencies to locate offenders and rescue victims. More information about Project Safe Childhood can be found at www.usdoj.gov/psc.
